San Francisco, CA, US -

Marc Andreessen, cofounder of Netscape, recently backed a new web browser called RockMelt, which  after nearly two years in development, will finally be available for the first time tomorrow.

RockMelt, created by Tim Howes and Eric Vishria, two former employees of Andreessen, is built on the concept that most user activity these days is based on a few core services - Facebook, Google, Twitter and a handful of other favorite websites.

Mark Andreessen is an investor and advisor to RockMelt, as a member of the board of directors.
