Miami Beach, FL, US -

Amateur Ping Pong player Grant Deken recently emerged as champion of the table after serving a crushing 7-1 defeat to long term rival Steve Moseley. When asked how he did it Deken responded, "Steve is a great player. I really focused on keeping my fundamentals strong and consistent. I think it was really the determining factor in our match play."

Deken now awaits a new challenger to step forward. "I hope more players will come forward and challenge me. That's what this game is about for me."

Bring on the ump Moseley! There's no rule against wicked top spin!

I heard that Deken weights the balls funny before serving... that's how he gets so many aces. I won't accept this loss until we have a certified umpire to ensure there's no funny-play going on!

Grant is a true inspiration to the game. I am sure Steve will make a come back but Grant is looking more like a modern day Federer on the table.
